2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
2011 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
Lamborghini is a company founded on a grudge. The founder, Ferrucio Lamborghini, set out to build a more reliable, comfortable supercar after being insulted by Enzo Ferrari while trying to have his Ferrari 250GT serviced. Nearly 50 years later, his company has released what may be the ultimate expression of his original vision: the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The Aventador LP700-4 communicates Ferrucio’s vision of a reliable, exciting supercar built for the road while rekindling the traditions of previous Lamborghinis.
Exterior
Lamborghinis have been about style as much as they are about speed. The Miura was the first Lamborghini supercar. In fact, many believe it was the first “supercar” period. Designed by Bertone, it began the wedge-shape trend of later Lamborghinis. However, Lambo became too avant-garde with such models as the Countach, softened to the point of blandness by the Diablo, and too tacky with the Murcielago. The Aventador, however, continues the tradition of the wedge-shaped Lamborghini, but brings that shape back to a more organic form, as seen in the Miura, rather than the purely geometrical ones seen on the Countach, Diablo and Murcielago.
Even though the Aventador references the style of the Miura, it is still connected to recent Lamborghinis with a few key geometric elements. In Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is a long, low, and wide car, a land-going ICBM missile. The front features elements of the Murcielago, but the edges are softened in places like the fender and grill openings. The headlights have also been toned down to give the car a more mature look that still manages to look intimidating. Also, like the Countach, the sides of the car feature prominent air intakes, and like the limited production Reventon, the back end scowls at you through narrow taillights and large grilles. The overall effect is the first traditionally beautiful Lamborghini since the Mura, but is still aggressive in appearance. It may be the first gentleman’s Lamborghini ever – Ed Hardy aficionados.

2013 Lamborghini Cabrera

2013 Lamborghini Cabrera
All good things must come to an end, so the Gallardo is packing things up and moving out of Lamborghini’s top spot to make room for a brand new baby. The Italian brand has yet to confirm the name of the future supercar, but convincing data is calling it the Cabrera, a likely possibility considering the Cabrera is the name of a famous Spanish fighting bull. The new Cabrera is expected to make its debut in 2013 and should follow the same evolutionary path as the Aventador, meaning fiercer lines and a more powerful engine.
The future Cabrera will be made from a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque, the same used on the new Aventador. This will decrease the weight of the future supercar making it easier for the supercharged V10 the 2013 Lamborghini Cabrera will feature. This V10 engine is the same one found in the Gallardo, but it has been given a supercharger to crank the 552 HP up to 600 HP. With the task of taking on Ferrari’s current 458 Italia, the 2013 Lamborghini Cabrera will surely need the 600 powerful bulls charging under the hood. Four wheel drive is also still being considered.
Expect the new 2013 Lamborghini Cabrera  to show up sometime next year, just in time for the 2013 model year.

The long awaited debut Lamborghini Murcielago successor seems to come sooner rather than later after it was announced that Lamborghini, the U.S. trademark registered the name Lamborghini Aventador, leading to doubts about whether it would be the official name of Lamborghini Jota. Although nothing is confirmed, it seems sufficient reason to believe that it could very well have 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 jacket next hypercar Lamborghini Murcielago.
Selected groups of customers on hand to see a new bull-buster, and based on what was seen 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 seems to have taken over many of its styling cues from the Lamborghini Reventon.
